英国皇家化学学会《Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics》期刊副主编
Guochun Yang received his Ph.D. in Science from Northeast Normal University. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Alberta in Canada and at Jilin University, and later served as an Honorary Visiting Scholar at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
His research has long been devoted to theoretical and computational studies, with a distinctive focus on advancing functional materials development through fundamental theory. He has made innovative contributions in the fields of high-pressure physics/chemistry, energy materials, and optoelectronic materials.
As first or corresponding author, he has published over 200 SCI-indexed papers in leading international journals, including Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Physical Review B, and Applied Physics Letters. He has also been invited to contribute five review articles (WIREs Computational Molecular Science, Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, Chinese Physics B) and a book chapter (Topics in Current Chemistry). His publications have been cited more than 8,000 times, with two ESI Highly Cited Papers.
His research outcomes have received broad recognition from the international academic community and media. Highlights include being selected as an “Editors’ Suggestion” by Physical Review Letters, a “Hot Paper” by Angewandte Chemie, and an “Editors’ Highlight” by Nature Communications. His work has also been featured in Superconductor Week (USA), the American Physical Society news portal, Nature Reviews Chemistry, Advanced Science News, and Chemistry World.
Professor Yang has received numerous honors and awards, including Jilin Province Outstanding Professional Talent Award, Jilin Province Distinguished Innovative Talent Award, the Second Prize of Jilin Province Natural Science Award, and the Second Prize of Jilin Province Scientific Achievement Award. He currently serves as Associate Editor of Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (published by the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK).
