Jiadong Ren is a professor in the school of Information Science and Engineering, Yanshan University, China. He received his BSc and MSc degrees from Northeastern Institute of heavy machinery in 1989 and 1994. And he got his PHD degree from department of computer science, Harbin Institute of Technology in 1999. His research interests include data mining, temporal data modeling and software security. His research has been supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China and Science Foundation of Hebei Province. He is a senior member of the Chinese Computer Society, member of IEEE SMC Society and ACM.
