主要从事复杂油气藏物理-化学复合强化开采理论与技术方面的研究，涉及非常规油气藏地质与开发、裂缝性油气藏渗流、波场采油与爆燃压裂开发等方面，主持研究课题6项，参与课题十余项，以第一、通讯作者发表学术论文二十余篇。

Research on the theory and technology of production stimulation of complex oil and gas reservoirs, involving (a) geology and development of unconventional oil and gas Reservoirs, (b) seepage and development of fractured low permeabile oil and gas reservoir ,(c) wave stimulated oil recovery, and  (d) explosive fracturing development. Led 6 research projects, participated in more than 10 projects, and published more than 20 academic papers as the first and corresponding author.
